The 6th Arts Alive! Awards Celebration was held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Stage Door at EJ Thomas Hall at 5:00pm. This year’s celebration marked the 20th Anniversary of the founding of the Akron Area Arts Alliance by Ann Brennan and Mary Ann Jackson. This special event honored individuals and groups that enrich our lives by their participation in arts and cultural activities. The fabulous evening shined the spotlight on those who help make our community sparkle with creativity.
